Voices of the Vasse was formed in 1999. Our mission statement is to
Nurture our members through fellowship, education, performance and competition in barbershop and a cappella music
We are a fully chartered chorus of Sweet Adeline’s International and embrace diversity, equity and inclusion. For a few years, there were only 12 or so regular members of Voices of the Vasse, but today that number is now 27 members and growing.
Busselton is situated on the Vasse River, hence our name. The area is expanding rapidly; the population of Busselton has now reached 38,000. We have a nucleus of very co-operative, happy members who have made many friendships within our chorus and other choruses within our region. We aim to recruit and build our membership with commitment to Sweet Adelines International in order to forge ahead.
